Framing Perspectives: Interview Series and Online Exhibition
Creativity Explored is proud to present Framing Perspectives, an interview series and online exhibition diving into what inspires our artists, the role of art in their lives, and the realities of navigating the art world with a disability. This project was created in collaboration with artist and disability rights activist E Barker of Moving Parts, who crafted the questions for this interview series based on their own lived experiences. Artists chose from a list of seventeen questions, such as “Does art bring you peace? and “What is something that happened in your life you wish others could learn from?” resulting in a unique exploration of each of their lives.
Artwork curated by Joseph “JayD” Green
Videography by Local Bay Area Filmmaker Kenny Dzib
Funding for this project was made possible by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
