Allura Fong has been a practicing artist at Creativity Explored for nearly three decades. She is best known for her immersive, abstract works, which she creates by organically layering acrylics and inks. She is a huge fan of metallic colors and often finishes off a piece by adding silver, gold, or copper with a fine-tip gel pen. Although she does not use source imagery, she often sees animals in her abstractions and will title her pieces after what she sees, such as “Dolphins” or “Flock of Birds.” She loves working alongside others, sharing her supplies, and giving suggestions to her fellow artists. Fong is motivated by sharing her artwork with others and stresses that her family and artist community are deeply important to her.

Fong has shown in over twenty exhibitions nationally and internationally, including France and Ireland.
