Get creative with Creativity Explored and Jenny Lemons during a free embroidery workshop for all ages and abilities. During the event, participants will gather in the legendary CE studio space to learn and practice basic embroidery and needlepoint techniques with special guest artist Jennie Lennick of Jenny Lemons and Fabricave exhibition curators and CE teaching artists Alexander Hernandez and Victor Molina.
During the event, we will unveil the new Creativity Explored x Jenny Lemons Embroidery Kit featuring a Día de Los Muertos design by CE artist Jesus Huezo. A portion of proceeds from kits support the artist directly and Creativity Explored.
Visitors are invited to participate in a special community quilt project with provided supplies or purchase a Jenny Lemons embroidery kit to make your own custom artwork.
The workshop is hosted in celebration of the current Creativity Explored gallery exhibition, Fabricave – an immersive fiber arts installation featuring the work of 16 developmentally disabled artists. Be sure to pop in a bit early to enjoy the exhibition and get inspired to create – the gallery opens at 10:00 AM and will close at 2:00 PM following the workshop.
We are thrilled to open up the studio to the public once again for this free special event! No tickets are required, but donations are welcome.

Jenny Lemons is a colorful boutique and DIY art school run by San Francisco-based artist Jennie Lennick.
Since opening the doors of their retail location on 24th Street in the Mission, Jenny Lemons has hosted thousands of people for creative in-person and virtual workshops. The store and website proudly carry the work of over 175 independent designers alongside their own in-house clothing, accessory, and art kit brand.
