Annual exhibition of work by disabled artists features Taneya Lovelace, Laron Bickerstaff, and Kaocrew "Yah" Kakabutra

We are excited to participate in Outside Forces, Art Enables’ 16th annual exhibition of work by self-taught artists!

While an exact definition of outsider art can be difficult to pin down, one often feels they know it when they see it: inventive work of extreme individuality motivated by the artist’s own personal experiences and desires, rather than the expectations and conventions of the mainstream art world. The show includes artists who are emerging and self-taught, artists from traditionally underrepresented communities, and artists with disabilities. Artworks are available for sale through Art Enables.

An opening reception will take place on Saturday, September 10 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. RSVP required.
