Allie Haeusslein serves as a Director at Pier 24 Photography, the largest space devoted to photography in North America, where she works on the exhibitions, publications, collection management, and lots in between.

Allie first learned of Creativity Explored nearly ten years ago when a group of inquisitive and exuberant CE artists visited Pier 24 on a field trip. With that and each successive visit, she was invigorated by the artists' enthusiasm in viewing the exhibitions, unique perspectives, and insightful questions. Her passion for CE has only grown stronger and stronger in the intervening years as she’s had the opportunity to visit the incredible studio and exhibitions at the 16th Street space and learn more about the organization’s approach to programming and supporting their artists.

Allie spends her free time hiking with her rescue dog, Penny, eating delicious food wherever she can find it, and looking at all kinds of contemporary art, all in the company of her friends and family.
