Trevor Cartmill-Endow

Trevor Cartmill-Endow (born 1989, Reno NV) started working at Creativity Explored in 2013. However, Trevor’s interest in art making began at a very early age when he first encountered “Sonic the Hedgehog,” a popular animated series that soon inspired Trevor to develop his own cartoon characters, while also learning to draw other identifiable icons from pop culture.

Trevor’s current work focuses primarily on his use of animation, specializing in the use of Flash. He has spent approximately ten years developing a series of over 20 characters that are used in short animated videos Trevor has been uploading to the Internet since 2008.

The nature of Trevor’s work including both his animation and his drawings on paper are extremely lighthearted and comedic. Trevor summarizes his work as being, “Rated E for everyone. I really want everyone to see it.” Trevor is excited to be at Creativity Explored so he can develop his other art making interests including painting and sculpture. He is also eager to work specifically with textile based work, creating soft sculpture, and also develop his synthesis of both Flash and stopmotion animation.
