Alexander Yeap

Alexander Yeap (b. 1991) joined the Creativity Explored studio in 2013. Working in a variety of media from oil pastel to acrylic to metallic marker, Yeap is known primarily for his architectural renderings and landscapes.

Drawn to abstracting natural elements, in his artwork, Sea Water 1, 2015, oil pastel, 16.5 x 15.5 inches, Yeap deconstructs the ocean into abstract shapes. Yeap captures the effects of a kayak reflecting on the water in vibrant shades of purple, pink, yellow, and gray, in his artwork Untitled (Kayak Reflections), 2015, 11 x 15.5 inches, acrylic on paper.

Yeap’s artwork Tree of the World, 2015, mixed media on paper, 11.5 x 13 inches, was featured in Tree of Life, an exhibition at Creativity Explored in 2015.
