Carol Jacobsen Waitte first discovered Creativity Explored in 2001. The art and mission of CE immediately resonated with her. She has been an art buyer and supporter ever since. CE is on a must experience list for all her out of state visitors.
Carol is the Board Chair and Executive Director of The Waitte Foundation, a family foundation focused on supporting organizations that promote the empowerment of those often left behind in our world. She is a Pacific Northwest native who moved to the Bay Area in 1987 to further her career in the technology industry. She spent more than 20 exciting years in tech working for companies large and small in development, marketing, strategy, and management. She has served as a board member of many nonprofits in the South Bay. Her lifelong passion for art has been expressed for years in the volunteering of her time in support of art focused non-profit endeavors.
