Untitled Gesture

  • Creativity Explored 3245 16th Street San Francisco, CA, 94103 United States (map)

Untitled by Pamela Pianchachi, 2023, watercolor and gel pens on paper, 10.50 x 16 inches.

Each artist in Untitled Gesture offers a highly personal, visual language in a physical form. In a society that often prioritizes verbal and symbolic communication, the artists in this exhibition realize alternative means of communication – the rich nuance language which exists in the shape of a mark, the pressure of a line, a color choice, and the subtlety of the spaces between. As technology continues to reshape our modes of communication, it is essential to acknowledge the limitations of symbolic language alone. Untitled Gesture serves as a powerful reminder that in our computer driven world, there persists a myriad of ways in which we can generously connect and communicate with one another.
