Driven by the belief that creative expression is a human right, Florence and Elias Katz radically expanded what it meant to be a professional artist when they founded three Bay Area art centers for neurodiverse artists – Creativity Explored, Creative Growth, and NIAD (Nurturing Independence through Artistic Development). 

Fifty years later, our organizations honor the Katzs’ legacy by continuing to collaborate, co-curate exhibitions, and share resources. For this year's FOG Design + Art Fair, we are proud to present a joint exhibition highlighting artists whose works were recently acquired by SFMOMA.
