Born in San Francisco in 1975, Taneya Lovelace has been an artist at Creativity Explored since 1998.
Lovelace creates abstract mixed media works, frequently incorporating acrylic, ink, pencil, and collage elements. Layering rich colors and organic forms, she builds complex compositions with much visual movement. Though she is non-verbal, Lovelace is able to express herself well through her dramatic canvases, as well as through gesture and touch.
Some of Lovelace’s recent large-scale works are prominently displayed in the lobby of Avalon at Mission Bay, a San Francisco residential development.
