Saed Nasser

Born in Kuwait in 1963, Saed Nasser worked at Creativity Explored from 1985 until 2010. He speaks primarily in Arabic, adding to the studio’s diversity of daily chatter.

Using mostly ink and watercolor, Nasser creates non-figurative works in soft, muted colors. His paintings are filled with weaving yarn-like lines over washes of analogous colors. The subtle colors and placid lines in Nasser’s artwork echo his gentle, unhurried nature.

Recently Nasser has delved into new media, painting on wood, working in papier-mache, and collaging portions of his drawings together to produce larger works.
