Lucinda Addison is working on a new series of permanent marker and pastel on paper renderings of San Francisco's iconic Victorian houses.
Visual Arts Instructor Danielle Wright encouraged Lucinda to draw the framework of the houses with permanent marker before filling in the various shapes with colored pencil. Lucinda is experimenting with permanent marker instead of her prefered graphite in order to learn how to commit to the line since permanent marker can not be erased.
Danielle remarks, "I hope this challenge will stretch her ability to creatively problem solve and build her confidence. Lucinda has a wonderful sense of color and is incredibly sensitive, perceptive and smart."
