Things I See…Finale

In the Studio

The workshop has ended at the Arkansas St. studio but the artworks created from it will keep the memory of “The Things I See Every Day” alive and bustling for a long time. The final sculptures and writings are finished and the translation from source photograph into four different artistic languages is complete. The artists have shown that an amazingly diverse amount of work can spring from a simple, self-imposed restriction. And that, in an era typified by an endless amount of choice and stimulation, sometimes, creating a limitation, and focusing intensely on it, can lead to an abundance of beautiful everyday things.
