“Low Life Slow Life” at CCA
Outside the Studio
Albert, Melody, Maria, Nubia and I went to check out the CCA art scene. Paul McCarthy’s “Low Life Slow Life” is an eclectic show with artwork that McCarthy and other artists made in the 1960s and 1970s.
The highlight of our trip was a live performance by a California College of the Arts female artist who threw herself on the floor, acting delirious and pronouncing words we couldn’t string together. Most of us were in a state of shock looking at her on the floor. I asked what should we do and Melody said “call 911”.
