Melody Lima was the first studio artist to begin working at Creativity Explored when the studio opened in 1983. Throughout her impressive tenure at CE, Melody frequently draws and paints creatures from the animal world. Now some of her favorite creatures (prairie dogs, bears, and armadillos) can be found on three different pairs of infant footwear produced by nimble, a San Francisco-based company.
Long-time admirer of Creativity Explored artists’ work, nimble co-founder Ricardo Ibaseta says, “I was drawn to Melody’s art because I like the line quality and expressions of her figures; also because my daughter was tickled when she saw them.” He continued, “As a young company, once we discovered that Melody was one of the first artists at CE, we thought selecting her work was symbolic of a strong foundation.”
In addition to being the perfect baby shower gift and/or staple for your own adventurous toddler, nimble gives a percentage of the sale of each pair of shoes to Creativity Explored.
