Michael Bernard Loggins featured on StoryCorps

Recognition & Awards

StoryCorps, an independent nonprofit project whose mission is to honor and celebrate one another’s lives through listening, recently featured Creativity Explored Artist Michael Bernard Loggins and his long-time friend and CE Volunteer Scott Becker on KALW news.

Loggins and Becker met at Creativity Explored in 2004. As their relationship grew over the last 5 years, they found they each filled a void in each others’ lives. Listen to the audio story here.

Since 2003, over 50,000 people have shared life stories with family and friends through StoryCorps. Each conversation is recorded on a free CD to share, and is preserved at the Library of Congress. Millions listen to StoryCorps’ award-winning broadcasts on public radio and the Internet. StoryCorps is one of the largest oral history projects of its kind.
