25th Anniversary Celebration a Huge Success!
Director’s Corner
Happenings & Events News
Creativity Explored extends a heartfelt thank you to all the people who helped us celebrate our 25th Anniversary at Foreign Cinema on May 15. The event was a roaring success; we thank everyone who attended and bid generously at the live and silent auction! We also thank the artists, individuals, and businesses who supported Creativity Explored by donating art and other auction items — and making it all possible.
Special thanks to Foreign Cinema chef-owners Gayle Pirie and John Clark, and General Manager Tracy Smith for their assistance with this event. Not only was the venue perfect, but the food and drinks were incredible! Attendees were able to eat their fill at a raw bar, sample gourmet treats prepared by the chefs, and cool off on a warm evening with refreshing ginger, mint and vodka cocktails! The evening ended with Foreign Cinema prepared desserts and Creativity Explored art embellished chocolates from Recchiuti Confections. Everyone was well fed and very happy! We also thank Modernism West Gallery for allowing us to install artwork in their gallery.
Peaches Christ, Mistress of Ceremonies, was a truly fabulous auctioneer. The Baguette Duet, Chris Leone and the Spurs of the Moment, and DJ Puppet kept feet tapping and spirits high.
Sincere gratitude goes to Creativity Explored volunteers, board, and staff who helped make this event possible.
Creativity Explored also thanks Wachovia for sponsoring the event.

I am, admittedly, an infrequent visitor to the “Director’s Corner.” Considering the posting date of this, most recent communiqué, so too is the Director.
First, congratulations on 25 years of honest and transcendent artistic expression. The culture CE has created for its artists is great and is seen in the quality of the work.
Second, my visit to the Director’s Corner is an attempt to communicate directly with the Director. I am unable to find either a voice mail box or email address for Ms. Taub which led first to befuddlement, and then envy. I thought it was no longer allowed for anyone to exist without having either, let alone both!
I do wish to speak with you, Ms. Taub, as we are now very close to opening our studio in Santa Cruz. And yes, I will call during business hours.
Happy Thanksgiving
