Creativity Explored member artist Michael Bernard Loggins’ book, “Fears of Your Life”, was included in This American Life’s “Greatest Hits” compilation released in November — just in time for holiday gifting. Loggins’ FEARS were first heard on the Chicago Public Radio (WBEZ-FM) show with Ira Glass in March 2003.
It’s been three years since the last TAL collection, and “This American Life: Stories of Hope and Fear”, is a good one. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear actor Tom Wright read Loggins’ poignant lists of things in his life that cause him concern. TAL listeners were deeply moved and loved the reading. We think you will too.
From Jonathan Goldstein and Starlee Kine’s standup comedy karaoke aspirations, to David Wilcox’s tale of his mother’s final gift to his mentally disabled sister, to Sascha Rothchild’s alarming teenage diaries, and Julie Snyder’s final confrontation with the phone company, this 2-CD set explores our greatest hopes and worst fears. Also contains more stories by David Sedaris, John Hodgman, and others. It’s only $17 and is available online at This American Life.
