Film about CE screens at the 2006 Telluride Film Festival

CE in the News

“Cross Your Eyes Keep Them Wide”, a film by by Ben Wu, was screened at the Telluride Film Festival on September 3, 2006. “Cross Your Eyes Keep Them Wide” is a meditative, enlightening portrait of the artists that work in our main studio. Wu recently completed this film about Creativity Explored artists for his Masters thesis project in documentary film from Stanford University.

The film subtly captures the ebb and flow of life inside the studio, and along the way introduces some of the colorful and inspiring artists. Through their own words the artists discuss their work, the difficulties they sometimes face in the outside world, and the community they’ve built through the center. Everyone who has seen this film has given it an exceptionally positive review, and said it truly captures the spirit of the center.

Length: 22 minutes 35 seconds
Director: Ben Wu

The film will be for sale after September 30 in our San Francisco Gallery or online.
