Weekend theft at CEII wipes out animation program equipment

General News

We discovered Monday morning that someone had broken into our newly relocated studio site and had stolen computers, cameras, scanners, etc. Unfortunately, the thieves cleaned out almost all the equipment used in our animation program. Much of the studio artists’ animated work was on the computers and was lost as well.

We are asking the community to assist us to replace this valuable equipment so that our studio artists can return to creating animated works. We are gratefully accepting monetary donations, new (or relatively new) Macintosh computers (G3-G5) and peripherals, digital video cameras, and scanners. We sincerely appreciate your support so that we can get this important component of our creative arts program operating again! Please call us if you would like more information at (415) 863-2108.
