San Francisco’s PROJECT: HOME mural, once located at 16th and Dolores Streets, has been revived, expanded, and moved to the 16th and Mission Street Walgreen’s Store. The collaborative mural project, directed by community artist Ellen Rodgers, includes original mural artwok by CE member artists Jim Miles, Charlotte Gage, Ricardo Estella, and David Jarvey, as well as new works by Peter Cordova, Sara O’Sullivan, Nita Hicks, Tony Gomez, and Ethel Revita. PROJECT: HOME was created in collaboration with children from Holy Family Day Home Child Care Center and St. John’s Educational Threshold. The mural was completed last month and we have received many kudos from Mission District locals as well as visitors for our beautiful and joyous contribution to the neighborhood.
