Creativity Explored was awarded the Best of the Bay award by the SF Bay Guardian as the Best Reason to Wait in Line Early for an Art Sale!
According to the SF Bay Guardian, “CE is the scene of a shopping frenzy each December, when hundreds of pieces of art go up for sale at huge discounts. The center’s artists work in different media, from painting to drawing to sculpture and everything in between, producing pieces that are whimsical, beautiful, and often profound. Art fans and hipsters in the know begin lining up well in advance of opening time and psyching themselves up, because when the doors open, all hell breaks loose as people try to get the best stuff before it’s gone. Within minutes the warehouse becomes crowded and chaotic. Many smart shoppers use this event to buy all of their holiday gifts and also decorate their apartments.”
The 2003 CE Holiday Art Sale will be held the first weekend in December. Shopping hours are Friday, December 5, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. We’ll see you in line!
