Competitive Fashion Show &
Project Runway Finale Viewing Party

If you thought Project Runway was an exclusive New York event, think again. Retrofit will host San Francisco’s version of Project Runway (oh what a drag!) on Wednesday night, March 5. Contestants were given a bag of retro clothing and one week to face the challenge: “You went exploring and you discovered what?” Scissors are flying as ten designers prepare for this “fierce” competition. The results, some of which may make Bay Area favorite Chris March proud, will be shown on Retrofit’s runway in just two days! Ticketed seating for the fashion show is now sold out, but there still may be standing room. If you can’t get in the store for the fashion show, you’ll be able to see the designer creations from the sidewalk as the models strut their stuff in the window for the overflow crowd of fans and critics.

After the strenuous judging (including two representatives from Creativity Explored!), only one designer, one fashion creation and one model will remain; and the 2008 winner of Project Lamé will be known! The grand finale of Project Runway will be aired at 10:00 pm on a huge screen, so you’ll want to be there - if you are anybody! Everyone is invited to the Finale Viewing Party - even if you do not have a ticket for the Fashion Show.
