Celebrities, Community Leaders and Colorful Characters from the City by the Bay Strike a Pose to Benefit Creativity Explored

Paparazzi, take note! The place to be on March 30, 2006 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm will be the 111 Minna Gallery where San Francisco’s finest will all be hanging out…on the walls, that is. The inimitable artists of Creativity Explored have created one-of-a-kind portraits of more than 25 notable San Franciscans which will be sold through a silent auction that night to benefit Creativity Explored.

The evening will be co-hosted by District Attorney Kamala Harris and Comedian Will Durst, and will feature a special guest appearance by jazz chanteuse Paula West.

Creativity Explored artists have created unique portraits of more than 50 local celebrities including: Marian and Vivian Brown, Conspiracy of Beards, Will Durst, Kamala Harris, Heklina, Kronos Quartet, Carol Queen, George Lucas, Gavin Newsom, Amy Tan, Nate Thurmond, Cecil Williams, Neil Young, and many, many more.

Several of the city’s hip restaurants will donate food for this one-of-a-kind event including 2223 Restaurant, Asqew Grill, Blowfish Sushi to Die For, Columbus Salame, Joseph Schmidt Confections, Platanos Cafe y Cocina Rustica, Soluna, Tangerine, Universal Cafe, Yo Yo Restaurant, and more.
