“Utopia!” in Dolores Park

Outside Event

Dates:
Thursday, October 13, 2005, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Location:

Dolores Park
San Francisco CA

Utopia! is an interactive public event in Dolores Park with the Roadside Show & Tell and Creativity Explored artists. You can experience Utopia! for a very limited time only, so mark your calendars and head to Dolores Park!

One day only!
Thursday, October 13, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

In the Show & Tell Tent, you’ll see Utopian Manifestos and 3-D sculpture by Creativity Explored artists. Participating artists are Peter Cordova, Marcus Cortez, Steven Geeter, Melody Lima, Emma Reyes, Lance Rivers, Kevin Roach, and Rosemary Tufo. Discard your every day troubles in the “Trouble Duster”, interact with the artists in the “Utopia Zone”, and reveal your own utopian desires!

The Roadside Show & Tell is an experimental project by San Francisco artist Alison Pebworth. A customized portable tent establishes a public art and research space within the “every day”. New ideas and collaborative projects are used to engage passersby in “lost” artistic processes, bringing together diverse groups of people, and challenging the assumptions we make about each other.
