Creativity Explored presents “Monster,” an exhibit that reinterprets classic monsters such as The Mummy, Dracula, and Frankenstein’s monster in wild and new ways. The imaginations of CE artists have also created new monsters such as the Axe Monster, the Dorisaurus, and the Big Eyed Monsters. Highlights include a 6’ tall 3-D Creature from the Black Lagoon by Kelly Clark and several other artists, and a 4’ × 8’ multi-panel Wolfman portrait by Douglas Sheran.

A whole array of media has been used including papier maché, printmaking, painting, mixed media, and animation. Featured artists include Laron Bickerstaff, Kelly Clark, Ricardo Estella, Steven Geeter, Steven Gin, Heidi Hennessey, Michael Loggins, Merna Lum, Gordon Shepard, Douglas Sheran, and Sara O’Sullivan.
