Gordon Chin (b. 1962) is most known for his simple representation of pop culture images, often accompanied with a terse, playful caption. He most often works in Sharpie, finishing with a wash of watercolor that lends a timelessness to his references. Chin has a fascination with the question mark, often scrawling that piece of punctuation large and colorfully above a word or phrase that provokes thought. His greeting cards are well known, and his iconic donut images have been used by CB2 drawings of donuts on a set of dessert plates.
Chin joined the Creativity Explored studio in 2005.
