This year, beat the boring present blues with a trip to Creativity Explored’s Annual Holiday Art Sale. At this one-of-a-kind sale event, you have thousands of original choices for affordable gifts that will delight and inspire your loved ones. Shelves are packed with whimsical ceramic masks, tiles and sculptures. Tables are heaped with handmade pillows, cute artist designed t-shirts and notecards. And the walls are covered from floor to ceiling with paintings of everything from wild-eyed critters to birthday cakes on fire. Who knows? You may just end up redecorating your apartment too!

And don’t miss out on being one of the first to pick up Michael Bernard Loggins’ highly anticipated second book, Imaginationally, a dictionary of the words he has created to describe his daily experiences and thoughts printed by Manic D Press. From hectical (very busy at work for 48 hours) to troublemakerhood (a neighborhood where troublemakers hang out), more than 60 customized words are handwritten in alphabetical order with Loggins’ own definitions, examples of how you would use them in a sentence, and hand drawn illustrations. It’s a totally original lexicon of funable and laughterful terms that you just might find yourself using soon too.

Creativity Explored is San Francisco’s premier gallery of work by artists with developmental disabilities. Half of the proceeds from the sale of the work go directly to the studio artists. • Opening Weekend – December 7, 2007 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., December 8 & 9, 2007 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
• The Sale runs through December 28 during regular gallery hours, Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Saturday 1:00 to 6:00 pm.
