Linda Davenport is featured in an exhibition at the Marin Community Foundation.

Linda Davenport is included in FiberSHED, on view at the Marin Community Foundation, October 7, 2015 through January 15, 2016. This exhibition presents appoximately ninety artworks by twenty-four fiber artists, primarily from the Bay Area, but also including five artists from Los Angeles, Michigan, and New Hampshire.

Fiber artists have a unique relationship with the landscape. Their work is informed by the traditional values of weavers and textile workers, although the prevailing agriCULTURE of their bioregion can also inform the artists' art-making. Within this survey you will find a cross-pollination of Bay Area environmental sensitivity and conceptual art-making that pushes the boundaries of this medium in exciting and creative ways.
