Creativity Explored artist Thanh Diep is featured in a juried exhibition at the Sunnyview Hospital Foundation.

The work of Creativity Explored artist Thanh My Diep is featured in Art for the View, a juried art exhibit of artists with disabilities from around the world at the Sunnyview Hospital Foundation, Schenectady, New York. Art for the View celebrates creativity, vision, and the ability to persevere through life's obstacles.

Thanh Diep's work Nature, 2012, charcoal on paper, 17.5 x 24 inches, included in the exhibition, addresses prejudice as it relates to her disability. Diep was the first graduate of The Bridge School in Hillsborough, and is the first Bridge School alumna to graduate from college. Diep received her BA in 2005 from San Francisco State University where she majored in Liberal Studies.

Art for the View runs from October 8 through Decemeber 12, 2014, and the opening reception will take place on November 7, 2014, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Proctor's Theatre.
