Join Creativity Explored for The Writers Studio: Art Speaks to Art event during the annual Lit Crawl hosted by LitQuake.

Creativity Explored will be a featured venue for the annual Lit Crawl on October 20, 2018. One of the most anticipated literary nights of the year, San Francisco's Lit Crawl attracts close to 10,000 people.

The fresh, colorful, surprising, and moving work of artists at Creativity Explored inspires The Writers Studio students to read in response during the Art Speaks to Art event from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Hear Asna Ansari, Eanlai Cronin, Gail Ford, Kathie Jacobson, Tamara Schuyler, and Manikya Veena read their responses to CE artwork selected from the studio.

Afterward stick around the CE studio for Celebrating Nothing Short Of: Selected Tales from 100 Word Story, a phase two Lit Crawl event, taking place from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

The Lit Crawl, which spans the Mission District's Valencia Street corridor, goes from 5:00 pm through 9:00 pm (with half hour gaps between phases, so 5-6 pm, 6.30-7.30 pm, 8-9 pm).

Superfest International Disability Film Festival is the longest running disability film festival in the world. Since it first debuted in a small Los Angeles showcase in 1970, it has become an eagerly anticipated international event—co-produced by San Francisco's Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability at San Francisco State University. While Creativity Explored is not featured in this year's festival, we hope you can make it out to support all the incredible films created by artists and filmmakers in our community.

For more than 30 festivals, Superfest has celebrated cutting-edge cinema that portrays disability through a diverse, complex, unabashed and engaging lens. Superfest is one of the few festivals worldwide that is accessible to disabled filmgoers of all kinds.

All films will be presented with captioning and audio-description and all live dialogue will be available with American Sign Language and live captioning.
