Dress up and get down!

This group exhibition celebrates fashion, fame, identity, and queer culture with wonderfully unique artworks and knock-your-socks-off performances opening during San Francisco PRIDE week. Curated by a talented and diverse CE team — an artist, art instructor and staff.



Join us for Camille Holvoet's first solo show at 18 Reasons in San Francisco!

Camille Holvoet will be showing a selection of work involving savory items such as macaroni salad, bean salad and spaghetti-o's, junk food alongside cakes and cupcakes.

Holvoet’s artwork is an expression of food, love, and memory; and sometimes, the anxiety that longing for a delicious meal can provoke. An artist of decadent and specific tastes, Holvoet presents work of unexpected color and depth of feeling which transforms the iconic foods of celebration (cake, pie, ice cream, hot dogs, French fries) into mythical objects of beauty. Her work is confessional, revealing personal desire with a risky surrender to imagination that is ultimately hopeful and always joyous.

NOTE: During the opening reception, you’ll find one of Holvoet’s artistic “cake” creations come to life in the form of an edible confection designed and baked by Creativity Explored Visual Arts Instructor Geri Montano. Plus, there will be a limited supply of Recchiuti Confections' Burnt Caramel Chocolates featuring Holvoet's "Cakes" design -- first come, first served!
