BACC Housing Workshop

  • Creativity Explored 3245 16th Street San Francisco, CA, 94103 United States (map)

Houses and Families by Nubia Ortega, water color, on paper 22.5 x 30

Join us for a community focused afternoon and an opportunity to participate in a Creativity Explored video project focused on housing for people with disabilities.

Housing is a crucial issue in the Bay Area, but it has a disproportionate burden on the disabled community. Our artists at Creativity Explored envision a San Francisco where everyone, regardless of ability, has access to safe and inclusive housing. Thanks to the support of the Bay Area Creative Corps grant, we have the opportunity to bring this vision to life through art and personal testimonies. Come be a part of this important project and help us create a more inclusive and supportive community for all.

Ways to participate

  • Create art that focuses on the theme of housing, exploring topics such as affordability, accessibility, and community.

  • Engage with Creative Explored artists to understand their personal journeys with housing, gain valuable insights, and reimagine a Bay Area with accessible housing for all.

  • Collaborate with CE to produce video interviews that illuminate the housing challenges faced by the disability community in Bay Area.
