We regretfully share the news that William (Will) Connolly passed away on April 24, 2012. Will was an active member of Creativity Explored's Board of Directors in the 1990's, a long-time CE advocate, and brother of current artist Anne Connolly.
Will followed in the footsteps of his mother, Margarete Connolly, who was an activist for people with developmental disabilities and lobbied tirelessly to help shape the service system as it exists today. Will recently served as a member of CE's Family Group as a continuation of his service to our vital program.
He never failed to bring his sharp wit when attending CE functions or visiting the studio to pick up his sister Anne for holidays, salon appointments or long weekends. Will's support, historical knowledge, and erudite humor will be missed.
Will is survived by his brother Paul Connolly and sister Anne Connolly; nieces Christina Stark, Paula Suiso, Elizabeth Thomas and eight great-nieces and nephews; as well as Malone and Mahoney cousins and many, many friends. Will's obituary can be read here.
