On Saturday, March 4, Creativity Explored artist Lance Rivers led a group of urban explorers and art enthusiasts on a walking tour of downtown San Francisco. This one-day excursion offered a unique opportunity to see signature city landmarks and buildings through Lance Rivers' eyes.
During the hike, Rivers shared his insights about the Montgomery BART station, the Salesforce Tower building site, and the Embarcadero. The tour ended at the Ferry Building's Recchiuti Confections store where the group indulged in bites of Burnt Caramel truffles featuring River's "Landmarks" drawings.
Lance-scape Architecture exhibition guest curator and fellow artist Colter Jacobsen joined the walk and composed the following text from comments and fragments overheard along the way.
