Evelyn Reyes' artwork installed in award-winning building

Creativity Explored worked with architectural firm David Baker + Partners to place ten artworks by CE artist Evelyn Reyes in the new Drs. Julian and Raye Richardson Apartments in Hayes Valley.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle's Urban Design Critic John King, Baker's design "sends the message that supportive housing - where on-site counselors help residents transition from the streets - is nothing to be ashamed of." Read the full review here.

In March 2012, the San Francisco Business Journal announced that the Drs. Julian & Raye Richardson Apartments won "Best Residential/Affordable" for David Baker + Partners' design of 120 units devoted to supportive housing.
