Raven McCormick

Raven McCormick (b. 1994) melds together classic goth aesthetics with punk rock craftsmanship, plus a touch of psychedelic ambiance. She joined the Creativity Explored studio in 2016.

McCormick's work ranges from comic book-like character sculptures to cool toned marker portraits. She has developed a fantastical style combining her very own distinctive twisted-line pattern with an unsaturated dark palette. She describes herself as an, “avant garde rocker with a bohemian style.”

McCormick's work has an otherworldly magical quality inspired by her love of rock and roll music and Victorian culture. According to McCormick, “Everything I make is based on a song I listen to and get inspired by, from rock music, to metal music, to punk music."

”McCormick's sculpture was included in Joy Factory Gallery’s Tim Burton-inspired exhibition, STAY PECULIAR in January 2016.
