Jason Lee

Jason Lee was born in San Francisco in 1967. He worked at Creativity Explored from 2000 through early 2011.

Lee’s 2D work is always abstract solid bold areas of color. He works quietly through the day, focused on painting. Lee initially lays out the composition with graphic art tools (i.e. rulers, triangles, etc.) and outlines the areas with colored pencils. He then fills in the various shapes with color and adds his name when he is finished.

In 2006, Lee began working in our second studio where he created 3D animals of papier-mache.
