Weslie Raudez

Weslie Raudez was born in 1979 in Nicaragua. He joined the Creativity Explored studio in 2005.

Meticulously accurate drawings of ships, insects, human figures, and other animals make up much of Raudez’s artistic oeuvre. He works with a variety of drawing media, preferring markers and the saturated colors they produce.

Recently, Raudez has been interested in textile art, producing carefully pieced scenes of boats and insects that he sews into small pillows. He is as painstaking in his stitching as he is with his controlled drawn line.
