Thomas Pringle

Born in 1941, Thomas Pringle is a California native who joined Creativity Explored in 2006.

Pringle enjoys painting individual portraits in acrylic. He is very passionate about the artistic process, and likes mixing the vibrant colors that characterize his paintings. Pringle says that he draws inspiration from beautiful women and celebrities. His first step involves direct observation; he states, “What I see is what I draw.” He then simplifies the figure into shapes, gradually focusing onto details such as hairstyle and clothing.
