Norberto Diaz

Born in Mexico in 1965, Norberto Diaz has been a studio artist at Creativity Explored since 1990.

A very versatile artist who enjoys experimenting with new media, Diaz is best known for his graphically strong ink drawings. His images of animals and figures are very iconic. Often a single figure is compositionally centered and outlined in black over a wash of color for background. His mother Rosa and sisters are his favorite subject matter, and he often portrays them in animal form.

Supplementing his interest in visual art, Diaz is also a music aficionado. Rarely seen without headphones, he always listens to pop or Latin music while he draws and paints.
