Lance Rivers

Lance Rivers was born in 1967 in San Francisco, California. He has been working at Creativity Explored since 2002. He usually works with drawing and painting media on paper, and is a meticulous draftsman.

Rivers’ artwork strongly reflects his interest in architecture and bridges. His powerfully linear works begin with pen, outlining skylines, bridges or landscapes, and are then completed with paint, watercolor or colored ink. All are representational, depicting the subjects with strict adherence to the rules of perspective and volume. Rivers likes to walk the city looking at buildings and bridges and is an avid reader of maps.
