Isagani Tanyag

Isagani Tanyag was born in 1957. He has been an artist in the Creativity Explored studio since 1993.

Though Tanyag now works almost exclusively in acrylic paint, he used to be prolific with oil pastels until deciding the medium was too messy. Tanyag’s work combines monochromatic fields of color with thick black lines, all painted with great care and precision. Many of his paintings are completed on a smaller scale and are sometimes combined to create large collages. Skillfully arranged, Tanyags’s compositions are quiet abstract works that still achieve much movement and flow.
