Hope Goodall

Hope Goodall was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1965 and began making art at Creativity Explored in 1991.

Goodall works primarily with drawing media and watercolor and prefers to work on small-format paper. Her joyful images of people and animals are composed of loose lines layered with washes of muted color. Recently, Goodall has done a series of self-portraits. Though similar to her other figurative work, these drawings and paintings show a specificity and attention to detail perhaps resulting from her intimate familiarity with the subject.
