Tony Gomez was born in 1933. His place of birth is unknown. Gomez has been enthusiastically making art at Creativity Explored since 1985.

Gomez is versatile with variety of media, including colored pencils, acrylics, watercolors, and collage. His work is characterized by repeating marks and shapes over broad washes of color. Gomez has an intuitive sense of color and expertly pairs warm and cool hues. In tune with his friendly, affable nature Gomez frequently collaborates with other artists, combining his abstract style with another’s figurative work. Tony has been described as “an artist’s artist” — loving the pure process of art making.
