Andrew Li was born in San Francisco in 1965. He has been a member artist at Creativity Explored since 1990, and is currently a student at San Francisco City College.
Li is a prolific artist, and his loose, sketchy drawings reflect his rapid artmaking process. Cityscapes, figures, and machines are the most frequent subject matter in his drawings and paintings. The precise perspective and attention to scenic detail illuminate how Li typically sketches from life, incorporating what he observes in San Francisco and in his travels into his artwork.
