Sonya Derman is an artist who received a BA in Studio Art from Carleton College in 2006. Born in New York City, Sonya moved to San Francisco after college and joined Creativity Explored in 2007.

Sonya works primarily in drawing and painting, and recently participated in Southern Exposure’s Monster Drawing Rally. She also writes about local art and exhibitions.
