Nicole Selçuk studied Art Education and Creative Writing at San Francisco State University. In conjunction with these programs, she edited Transfer magazine, and traveled to Colima, El Salvador to teach art in local schools and facilitate community art projects. She has worked as a publicist, copywriter, and editor for the College of Creative Arts at SF State, the International Center for the Arts, the Documentary Film Institute, and Montalvo Center for the Arts. She enjoys most messy media, including cast sculpture based in papier-mâché techniques, and short fiction.
