Megan A. Saperstein received her BFA from the Maryland Institute in Baltimore in 1992. She was solely East Coast-based until 1996 when she visited the Bay Area, and decided to stay. After initially working as a volunteer, she joined the teaching staff of Creativity Explored in 2002 and subsequently became the Volunteer Coordinator. Megan’s artwork encompasses a vast variety of media. Most recently, she has exhibited in San Francisco and Berlin. Megan also devotes her time as a feral cat colony provider and community garden member.
“Each day at Creativity Explored is so completely different. And so completely inspiring in different ways. I am constantly amazed at the artwork that is produced, the creative decisions people make, or just instinctively DO, the thought processes at work, and of course the conversations that take place. And it is all so reciprocal. This place is a fantastic microcosm.”
